VACANCY FOR COMMUNITY GOVERNOR

25/06/2019

Our Governors come to us through a variety of routes and with a range of different backgrounds, skills and experiences, but they are all volunteers who work together for the benefit of our school. We are currently looking for a new Governor and would be delighted to hear from anyone who has:

• An interest in the performance of the school
• An open and enquiring mind
• The ability to look at issues objectively
• The confidence to ask questions and join in debate
• A willingness to listen and make informed judgements

Being a governor can be enjoyable, stimulating and rewarding. You will be joining a long established governing body and will be supported by fellow governors with many years of combined experience.

If you are interested in becoming a Community Governor, please write to Mr Roger Bell, Chair of Governors at Chenderit School, Archery Road, Middleton Cheney, Banbury, Oxon OX17 2QR giving details of what you can contribute to the governing body and what experience and skills you feel you can contribute to the position. The closing date for receipt of written applications is 9am on 19th July 2019.
