Summer Project 2019

22/07/2019

Forty years ago, in September 1979, Chenderit School opened its doors for the very first time. The world was a very different place all that time ago, but the school itself wasn’t that unrecognisable. Chenderit has always been a caring, ambitious school, determined that students have the opportunity to do well in every aspect of their lives. We all share a strong belief that everyone in our community should aim high, work hard and be nice. This summer, as we look forward to celebrating the 40th anniversary of our school, we all have a chance to demonstrate those key principles. This year’s summer assignment challenges everyone in our community to make the world a better place and we are encouraging students in all year groups to try some, if not all of the 40 challenges which can be found at: https://docs.google.com/document/d/14P_lPjG7FnTY7O9xjLGO55Cwi5RVywtZjVwhhloV13g/edit

The final headteacher’s letter of this academic year can be found here.

We wish everyone in our community a safe and enjoyable summer holiday and look forward to seeing all students again on Wednesday 4th September.

Best wishes

Jane Cartwright
Headteacher
