Student mental health and well-being09/01/2018
Good mental health and a positive sense of well-being enable students to function well at school and meet the demands of everyday life. For this reason, we have recently updated the parent safeguarding tab and introduced a student well-being tab to include additional advice and guidance about specific mental or emotional health issues. These can be found at:
» Children's Society
» Chenderit - Well-being
Our in-school structure for managing safeguarding is robust. Should you have any concerns regarding safeguarding including emotional and mental health, please contact Mrs Jan Hooper on 01295 711567 ext 263 (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Mr Roddy Lloyd-Jones on 01295 711567 ext 242 (email@example.com) or Mrs Allison Smith on 01295 711567 ext 262 (firstname.lastname@example.org) in the first instance.
At Chenderit, we continue to have a multi-disciplinary approach to achieving positive outcomes for our students and we are in regular contact with all key agencies involved in promoting the welfare and safety of the children and young people at our school.
