Get involved: How to contribute to the exhibition

Our mission to change the world isn’t going to be an easy one: we need your help, and the help of your friends and family. The more people that we can get involved in the assignment, the better a place our community could become, so all staff, students, governors and parents are this year invited, not only to contribute, but to spread the word. This is our chance to help make a better world.

This year, as well as opening up the challenge to more people, we want to celebrate our achievements and share our experiences of helping others. There will be an exhibition in the Michael Heseltine Gallery, opening in September 2016, showcasing all the best responses from students in the school and beyond. For the exhibition to work well, we need your help: as well as getting involved in the project, it is important that you share your experiences and help to contribute to the exhibition. The exhibition in September will be a collaborative one, created by everyone who chooses to respond to the challenges set and who knows- perhaps something that one person does might inspire someone else and in doing so could help change the world. Perhaps something that you do could make all the difference.

Via Twitter

Twitter is a great way to share your experience of this year’s Summer Assignment, but please ensure that you use the hashtag #summerassignment with each relevant tweet. You will see that each individual challenge also has its own hashtag, please add these to each relevant post, to help us follow all the relevant stories across the world. It would be great if as many people as possible joined in with this. If you want to promote the summer assignment, please refer to this web address: www.chenderit.northants.sch.uk/maketheworldabetterplace.asp

As always, think carefully about what you post. We are only able to use tweeted information as part of our exhibition if you use the correct hashtags.
