Work Experience - Sixth Form

All students in our Sixth Form are required to arrange their own work experience, with the support of the guidance team, during work experience week in July.

The work experience week is the culmination of a year’s worth of work in tutor time and core lessons in which students are guided to find placements that are linked to their career aspirations.

Each year students spend time in the autumn term researching and securing placements in the UK and abroad. Work experience is highly valued by students and prospective employers and if students have made well-considered choices for their placements, this can lead to the offer of future employment or allow successful networking to take place.

Certain careers also require work experience to have been completed so this is an important and exciting opportunity for our students.
