The Heseltine Gallery

The gallery is a purpose-built contemporary glass and steel structure attached to the main body of the school. It is designed to showcase the work of artists and craftspeople as well as to celebrate the achievements of Chenderit students through a programme of regularly changing exhibitions.

The gallery is organised and run by a committee of volunteers and supported by a membership scheme ‘The Friends of the Heseltine Gallery’.

The gallery is open to the public on weekdays during term-time between 9.00am-4.00pm, with special extra weekend opening times for certain exhibitions. Please be aware that exhibitions change periodically, which requires work to be undertaken in the gallery. For this reason, before travelling to the school, we advise all visitors to ring 01295 711567 to check whether there is a current exhibition.
