In-Year Admissions

In year admissions take place when a student moves during the school year from one secondary school to another. All applications for a place at Chenderit School should be made via Northamptonshire’s admissions team.

When the Local Authority has received the application, they will contact Chenderit to enquire whether or not we have the capacity to accept a new student into a specific year group. If this is a possibility, then a member of the leadership team will contact you to arrange a visit and discuss any issues and the reason for the transfer prior to a place being allocated.

Chenderit School will also contact your child’s previous school for school reports on behaviour, attendance and subjects studied once they have enrolled with us.
